Be an A+ Parent!  Parents are a
child's first teacher.   Give your
child the help he or she needs to
  develop his or her literacy
skills.  The quality time you
spend with your child today will
have a real impact on your
child's tomorrow.
Congratulations on
parenthood!
5 Steps to Success

Step 1:  Go back to your
child's reading level.
Step 2:  Build your child's
sight word vocabulary and
speed up your child's word
recognition.
Step 3:  Teach your child
self-help sounding skills.
Step 4:  Interact while your
child develops his or her
comprehension skills.
Step 5:  Secure much
interesting reading at their
present reading level.
In 2009, Worldwide Literacy 1 has
been organized as a intervention for
illiteracy. Research has proven that if
your child has not developed reading
skills by the 3rd grade that more than
likely he or she will be an illiterate
adult.  Over 40 million Americans ages
16 and over have significant literacy
needs or they are illiterate.

In these days of advance technology
we have access to the world wide web
that allows us to process as much
information as we can imagine.  We
must be literate to understand it all.
We believe every child can learn and
become a lifelong reader.

Literacy skills start at home with you
as your child's first teacher.  We offer
assistance for you when you have
questions about your child's
progress.
